CEREC ONE-VISIT CROWNS

Mentor Smiles uses a revolutionary milling unit, CEREC, to provide one-visit crowns to patients with weakened or decayed teeth. We’re able to design, mill, and place a completely custom crown in just one visit to our office.

What is a crown?

If you have a cavity in your tooth or its structure is no longer viable, we can create a dental crown for you to preserve and stabilize it. With a dental crown, the roots underneath your teeth will also be preserved and your jaw will remain healthy. Once placed, your crown will last for many years, as long as you brush and floss as you normally would and continue to make your biannual trips to our dental practice.

OUR PROCEDURE

At your appointment, we will take an impression of your tooth to prep it for treatment. Once your crown is designed, your information will get sent to our office’s milling unit. Then, our CEREC machine will get to work on your restoration. Once the machine is done, we place the crown and ensure it fits. That’s all there is to it!
